QuakeSat along with seven other small satellites were all integrated onto a Eurockot BREEZE upper stage launch vehicle during the two weeks prior to launch. The Eurockot Website (http://www.eurockot.com) has graciously posted a series of photos taken during the two week process. This link brings you to the the page Multiple Orbit Mission (MOM) L-14 page , with the one of the only photos of the QuakeSat P-Pod Launcher being integrated onto the upper stage. Freddy Pranajaya, project manager of the NLS-1 CanX-1 CubeSat Team from the University of Toronto (and Stanford University graduate), also acted on the behalf of the Stanford team to oversee the QuakeSat integration activities in Russia. Thanks Freddy!
In addition, there is a daily mission report including MOM L-9 showing a view of the integrated small sats from the tip of the upper stage as the fairings are closed for final preparation for launch. All the other satellite projects are documented as well, and for the full Eurocokot article, click here.
Much more information about launch and the actual launch vehicle on the Eurockot Website, including their fabulous MOM sucess image below showing all eight of the small satellites launched on their multiple payload launcher.
