E-drawings are interactive 3-D CAD models and drawings that are extremely useful for conveying technical information over the Internet.  Below are links to five e-drawings that allow you to explore the stowed and deployed configurations of QuakeSat in an interactive, animation session.  In addition, an third interactive session allows to to see how QuakeSat fits into the P-POD in its stowed configuration.  In each of these interactive sessions you can 'right click' over the various components in the menu on the left hand side of the screen to make them hidden or transparent, allowing you to see down into the next layer of the model.  This technique is especially recommended for the component P-POD_Body-2 in the third e-drawing, the QuakeSat and P-POD integrated drawing.  That is unless you like to look at the big, solid P-POD box.  However, there are necessary software requirements to view e-Drawings, as discussed below.

To View e-Drawings, you have two options:

Option 1.  You can 'right click' over the e-Drawing executable below, and then click on 'save target as' to download the e-Drawing and viewer to your computer if you don't have and don't want to download the free e-Drawings software package from Solid Works, or...

Option 2.  You can download eDrawings 2003 for free from Solid Works at http://www.solidworks.com/edrawings/  and once installed, you can click on the e-Drawing file below, and the interactive model will appear in an Internet browser window.
