QuakeFinder can develop custom magnetometer products for your space applications
ULF/VLF/Payload The second generation of the QuakeSat series is being designed and built with a projected launch date of 2008. QuakeFinder at this time is actively seeking sponsors looking to integrate its payload on a satellite vehicle and deliver it into orbit. QuakeFinder is also developing customized payload integration partnerships to be built and delivered to your specifications.
TURN KEY Sat. System
QuakeSat is a small satellite, 4”x4”x12”, launched on June 30, 2003, and provides a “proof-of-concept” for collecting ULF earthquake precursor signals from space. The design was based on the CubeSat concept where each CubeSat is 4”x4”x4”. QuakeSat is in fact a triple CubeSat to provide a large enough size to include a one-foot long magnetometer that extends on a telescoping boom.
The satellite was built by the Space Systems Development Laboratory at Stanford University, under the direction of Professor Robert Twiggs, with the receiver unit provided by QuakeFinder. For more information on QuakeSat-I
