Vision
QuakeFinder is dedicated to earthquake forecasting research to ultimately develop, within the next decade, a global warning system of imminent destructive earthquakes.
Network The heart of the proposed forecasting system is a network of sensors monitoring ultra-low frequency electromagnetic emissions in earthquake-prone regions. QuakeFinder has built an extensive sensor network in California and select locations worldwide. It is currently expanding the network to provide more data for its research efforts.
Data The QuakeFinder network produces copious amounts of raw data that are automatically analyzed by proprietary algorithms invented and developed by QuakeFinder. This processed data is available free of charge to the public on QuakeFinder’s web site. You can locate a sine near your home and observe the processed signals (pulses, air conductivity) from that site.
Analysis QuakeFinder’s researchers analyze the processed data weekly to separate noise from useful information and produce reports that describe the meaning behind the data collected by the network.
