The QuakeFinder leadership team brings together over one hundred combined years of technical and management experience necessary for mission success:
- Tom Bleier – President, Founder and CTO – Over thirty years experience in remote sensing at The Aerospace Corporation and Stellar Solutions and twenty years background in ULF sensors
- Clark Dunson has over 25 years of experience in spacecraft systems engineering, test, and launch. He began his career in systems engineering, holding such positions as Test Conductor, Mission Designer, and Lead Experiment Engineer. In 1991, he began the pursuit of increasing his technical skill, and has since played lead roles in simulation & analysis, signal processing, and C++, OpenGL, and Matlab software development. He is the Lead Analyst and is responsible for software development and the Data Fusion Center.
- John Doering has over thirty years of experience with electronics in Silicon Valley. He is the chief electronics designer.
- Bob Camins has over twenty years of experience with electronic systems. He is the chief technician responsible for installing and maintaining the ground network.
- Matt Maniscalco has a Masters in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Stanford University, as well as degrees in law and economics. He has several years experience as a project and program manager. Matt oversees the QuakeFinder website, develops data analysis tools, and assists with electronic hardware and sensor equipment development.
- Dr. Jacob Bortnik has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, specializing in space physics. He is an expert in the propagation of electromagnetic waves through magnetoplasma in the ULF-VLF regimes, nonlinear wave-particle interactions, and statistical data analysis. He currently serves Quakefinder as a consultant.
- Dr. James Cutler has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford
University specializing in space systems and remote instrumentation
systems. He currently serves Quakefinder as a consultant.
